Nelson was a driver for Roadway for over twenty years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Janet; son Michael Hollandsworth; grandchildren Austin (Summer) Richard, Lilly Hollandsworth, Maggie Hollandsworth; great granddaughter Hensley Richard, Siblings Paul (Juanita) Hollandsworth, Maedean Lester, Betty Hammond and sister in law Kathy Hollandsworth.
Mr. Hollandsworth is preceded in death by his daughter Lori Hollandsworth; grandson Mitchell Bradford, parents Howard and Gladys Hollandsworth and brother LeRoy Hollandsworth.
Gathering of family and friends Monday April 14, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Tuesday April 15, 2025 gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm also at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
