Nancy Carolyn Swain

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Elias and Sadie (Edens) Sykes; daughter, Beverly Baggott and son, Bill Swain.

She is survived by sons, Benny Baggott (Nita) and Brett Baggott (Tammy); daughter, Beth Pickel (Kirk); daughter-in-law, Lori Swain; Allyson Mayfield (William); brother, James Sykes (Sally); sister-in-law, Mary Coleman; brother-in-law, Sandy Baggott; grandchildren, A.J. Baggott, Joey Baggott, Donnie Pickel, Matt Pickel, Jeremy Pickel, Connor Baggott, Chandler Baggott, Emma Swain and Carson Swain; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brady, Zoey, Jase and Charlie Baggott.

Nancy spent years working alongside her ex-husband and dear friend, Shug Baggott running businesses in music, transportation and entertainment. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and friend. She faced many hardships in life including the loss of 2 children. Her response was always to turn immediately and completely to God. She has left a legacy of Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who now do the same.

A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 pm Monday, December 30, 2019 at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with Bro. Mark LeMay officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Pickel, Matt Pickel, Jeremy Pickel, A.J. Baggott, Joey Baggott, Chandler Baggott, Connor Baggott and Carson Swain.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 pm till time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
