In her younger years, Mrs. Bonner lived with Antionette (Tony) Turner. At that time in life, she was an avid horse lover. Her days were spent riding rebel through what is now known as Woodlawn Funeral Home. She married Dennis Bonner and created a large family that she loved. She dedicated her life to her Family and all their activities.
Mrs. Bonner a Girl Scout leader, loved riding motorcycles, traveling especially cruising, loved the Lord and singing in the choir. She was a choir member at Faith is the Victory. Her career started as a hairdresser but later chose to become an interior decorator until she retired. Her family remembers her as having no filter with a long line of sarcasm, intelligence, loving.
Preceded in death by Albert (Pop) Turner, Estelle Lyles, Antionette Turner, Dennis Bonner, Paul Givens, Tyler Bitner, Jacob Presley.
Survived by her children Jennifer Givens of Cookeville, Michelle Ballentine (Fiancé Christopher Linville) of Cookeville, Donald (Keith) Bonner of Hermitage.
Grandchildren Sharon Bitner of Nashville, Jessica Callis (Michael) of Lebanon, Danielle Presley of Dyersburg, Arriel McLennan (Jonathan) of Westmoreland, Jennifer Dye of Pleasant Shade, Caleb Linville of Nashville, Rebekah Bonner of Hermitage, Faythe Hatcher – Givens of Cookeville, Olivia Ballentine of Cookeville, Kayleigh Bonner of Hermitage, Charles (Michael) Ballentine of Cookeville.
Great Grandchildren Morgan Bitner, Oakleigh Reese, Maddox, Nolan Callis, Andrew Linville, Jace McLennan Elliott Presley
Sisters and Best Friends of 66 years Debby Harding and Tamara Ingram.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jason Cowan will officiate. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends Monday, August 7th from 4:00 PM until – 8L00 PM and again Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Roger Holmes, Timothy Moore, Jonathan Mclennan, Michael Callis, Cayden Mosley, Jeremy Clark. Leading their Nana to her final resting place will be Charles (Michael) Ballentine, Maddox Callis
