Marie Mann Darnell

Marie Mann Darnell, age 92, passed away Nov. 2, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Alice (Weber) Mann; 4 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Virgil L. Darnell; daughter, Davida Warren (Woodard); son David Wayne Darnell; grandson, Jeremy Warren (Laura); great-grandchildren, Skyler Cain and Gavin Warren; brothers, Herbert D. Mann and Fred Mann.

Mrs. Darnell was a homemaker and a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at Tulip Grove Baptist Church, 563 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with Rev. Jack Lewis and Rev. Larry Dearth officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at the church.

In addition to floral tributes, the family requests contributions in Mrs. Darnell’s honor be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St, Nashville, TN 37203.
