Lisa Renee Dugger

L. Renee Dugger, age 66, of Mt Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Renee was born on December 12, 1956 in Donelson, TN to her parents, William R. Wooten, Jr., and Maggie Marie Bingham, who precede her in death.

Renee grew up in Donelson and was a 1974 graduate of McGavock High School and a member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church where she was a Ruling Elder, Class of 2024 session and was very active in many of the church activities. She and her husband, Mike, have an open heart for animals, especially dogs. They fostered numerous dogs and puppies, healing them and getting them to the adoption stage. One of the other favorite things that Renee enjoyed was "lake life" and "bobbin' in the water". She was a very special lady that will be greatly missed by her family, church, friends, and everyone that ever knew her.

Renee is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Mike Dugger, by her sons James Kyle Dugger and Matthew William Dugger and his wife Cynthia, by her granddaughter Gemma Dugger, by her brother-in-law William "Bill" Dugger, by her nephew Mike McHughes and last but certainly not least, her 4-legged companion "Lucas".

There will be a Memorial Service for Renee on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Hermitage Presbyterian Church, 421 Highland View Drive Hermitage, TN 37076 (615-883-8944).
