Kim Elizabeth Shivers passed away on October 22, 2019, at Tristar Summit hospital after a battle with nonsmokers lung cancer. Kim was born in Montgomery, Alabama, attended grade school in Virginia and David Lipscomb University in Nashville. At the time of her death she was employed at Galbreth Brothers Plumbing Contractors as their Office Manager. She was a friend to all, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the beach and seaside, especially Orange Beach, Alabama.
Kim is survived by her husband, Greg, her Sons, Justin (Tabatha) and Michael (Shannon) Roll, her granddaughters Peyton and Emerson Roll, her step sister, Kim Russell, brothers-in-law Brian, Bill, John and Randy Shivers of South Carolina, and her parents, Major General (Retired) Fletcher and Rachel Coker, in addition to numerous cousins, especially Tom and Sandra Stacks, with whom Kim and Greg have a special relationship. She is also survived by her beloved Yorkie puppy Paisley.
Gathering of Family and friends Friday October 25, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at Hermitage Funeral Home.
