I was so sad when we heard the news.  I am in the Memphis office of Qsource so we only worked by phone, but I will miss her.  May God comfort you and fill you with wonderful memories.  I'm praying for you and your family.

Karen was a good friend throughout high school in Farmerville.  I always thought the highest of Karen and she always excelled.  It's a sad day to have lost this wonderful lady.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family and I believe she is in a better place now.

I am so sad to hear of the loss of Karen Sue.  Though she and I have not seen each other for many years, I have fond memories of our childhood friendship when she and her family lived in Sarepta.  Even after she moved to Farmerville, we maintained our friendship as pen pals, and would visit each other for a week or so during summer school breaks.  I remember so vividly the people that would stop my mother when she took us shopping with her, and ask if Karen Sue and I were twins because we looked so much alike, wore matching clothes and had identical baby dolls.  I still have a picture of the two of us standing side-by-side holding our dolls.  Though we had not communicated with one another in the last few years, I still mourn the loss of my childhood "sister".  May she rest in sweet peace.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Karen Sue.  She and I had visited on the phone in the recent years since the passing of her mother, Kate.  We would talk about her memories of living in Sarepta and the closeness she shared with my daughter, Patsy.  I will miss our conversations.  My condolences to the family.

One of my best buddies.  We always were so close until the last couple of years. I'm sure gonna miss my 'margarita' buddy. Love you KaKa!

My dear sweet Karen, you will be missed by so many.  You were such a dear friend when I first came Ruston and took me under your wing.  Even though we didn't get to visit each other often after you moved, you were never far away in my thoughts.  You were one of those rare women that never let life's circumstances get you down, you seemed to always manage to take the lemons thrown at you and not only make lemonade and open a stand,  but you'd start the Karen Sue Franchise !!!!  I admired your "can do" spirit.  Rest now my sweet friend in the arms of Jesus until we meet again.

Karen and I first met when I was a senior at Ruston High School and she was completing her student teaching prior to graduation. Little did I know that I would marry her brother-in-law and we would become sister-in-laws and friends. Over the years we had many long phone conversations discussing life and our families. I am sad to say we lost touch in the past three or four years but she will forever be in my heart. She loved her Jessica dearly and made many life decisions based on what was best for Jessica. She was the epitome of a true mother in every sense. Love to you all.

I worked with Karen for many years, and even though I was in another city, I always felt like she was sitting right next to me when we spoke. She was always friendly with me and I will truly miss her spunk and bluntness. I can't believe she was taken so young and quickly. My thoughts are with you as you lay her to rest.

Karen Sue was one of my dearest friends in elementary and high school, and then my first college roommate.  We had many great times together especially spending nights with Mamaw Morgan and letting Mr. D. C. load our car with groceries from the store when we went home on weekends. We were the best fed girls on campus and the scales proved this very quickly into our first quarter. She wrote me a letter a few weeks ago and expressed how blessed she was to have such wonderful care from her family. As I read it I was reminded of her special laugh which entertained me on many occasions.   Please remember all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. My sweet sister-in-law fought the battle of cancer like a true warrior. She almost overcame it but God had other plans. You were taken from us much too soon. Our family will never be the same. We love you Karen  and will miss you terribly but we will see you again one day. You are now at peace and resting comfortably.
