Judy L. Scott

Judy Scott, 76 born February 11, 1946 in Martel, TN and raised in the Mascot area. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for a second time. On July 19, 2022 with her Lord’s help she won the battle receiving the ultimate healing. Judy served her Lord teaching and leading girls and women to learn about and do missions in the Nashville Baptist Association Women’s Missionary Union where she held several positions including Director. She was a graduate of Belmont College.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Roy Lindsay and Mary Grace Morton Lindsay, sister Clara Mae Lindsay, brothers David and John Lindsay and her husband of 45 years Wiley Scott. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Scott, brother Jim Lindsay and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service in memory of Judy will be held at Tulip Grove Baptist Church, 563 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 5:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Tulip Grove Baptist Church craft ministry for cancer patients, 563 Shute Ln Old Hickory, TN 37138.
