To: Sharon's family,

Not having met Sharon's Dad, I have no memory or story.  However, knowing Sharon as a Sister-in-Law, and older brother to Don, I can only imagine what a wonderful person J. Mcbride was,  for Sharon's very nice qualities had to come from somewhere.  
Know that Terrie and I wish the family well during this loss.

I feel so blessed to have known Mr. McBride. He was such a sweet and precious man.  This world was a better place with him in it. I always loved hearing about how much he loved his family and his country. I will miss seeing him. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Mary and the family.

John and Mary were a blessing in my years of playing at Gass's Family Restaurant . Such classy folks, and True people of character. I will forever remember him as my friend. I love and miss ya Old Friend. I still have the life sized gift you gave me........I still remember the words.   " But little they know, that it's so hard to find....One rich man in 10, with a Satisfied Mind.

I have asked for prayers for my cousin John. Les and I were able to go see him last Saturday. Les and I reconnected with him in June thanks to Facebook and “If you grew up in smithville group” and Lynn midget.  
Les and I are forever changed by our June visit and last Saturday’s visit.  Cousin John was a hero to me.  Strong man of God. Man of love. Man of integrity.  A patriot.  Loved America. Loved his family and his church. But most of all- loved his Jesus.  We love you John and like you told me in June “if I don’t see you in September, I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN.”  And he will.   
Les and I both are followers of Jesus and we both know our last breath on earth will be our next breath in heaven.  We will see you again cousin John.

I first met John when I was teaching his Sunday School Class. He was a friend who encouraged me greatly and was a true Ambassador for Christ.

John and I were in the same Sunday School Class at FBCMJ.  He was a joy and never failed to share his testimony at any time.  He loved his Mary.   And his family and worried over each one.  He was fun and never failed to tell everyone that he loved them.  He gave me a flag pin that I will always treasure.   My heart aches but I know we will see each other again. 

I was an 18-year-old kid when I met John at Baird-Ward. I looked up to him and he taught me a lot about work and life.  I'm 71 now and will never forget all he did for me. Thank you, John, from the bottom of my heart. 

My deepest sympathy to family  and fbcmj family. 
John was a dear friend, an encourager to my family, always praising those around him. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear about your loss I have so many good memories of coming to your house and your parents being so kind. He was a wonderful man God Bless you and your family.
