I don't know if you remember me from TTU but I was a friend of Janet's from Monterey grade school and high school and from TTU. I lived across the hall from her in the dorm. Janet always kept us laughing in the dorm. When I saw the photo you had posted of her laughing with her young daughter, I knew she also had kept your home filled with the same joy and laughter she shared with us so long ago. I am sorry I lost touch with her. May God bless you and comfort you.

I had sent a message on the Guest Book on 1-12-12 but I didn't leave an address in case you would like to send me a memorial card to share with our classmates during our next reunion. I have came back several more times to the Obituary to read and view the pics of Janet>> She was a beautiful person, inside and out,and I 'll continue to pray for God's comfort to surround you.

Janet and I were roommates at TTU.  She was always up and happy. I was her maid of honor at her wedding.  I will always remember her as a special friend.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  Mildred Harris Bilbrey

I went from grade school through high school with Janet in Monterey. She was always a very sweet person and was kind to everyone. After graduation, I never knew what happened to her,we sent invitations to her for some of our class reunions but she never came to any. So very saddened to hear of her passing. Didn't hear of this until last night when a fellow classmate contacted me about it. Would like a memorial card sent to me if possible to share with our fellow classmates at our next reunion. I know many of them didn't know and will be saddened also to hear of her passing.I am so very sorry for your loss. May God comfort your hearts and give you strength and peace that only He can give. The Russell Driver Family remembers so fondly Janet's warmth and kindness, extended many ways at McKendree while our parents, Russell and Ann, resided there (1992-2008).  Her friendship and willingness to help extended beyond their residence, as Janet worked with us long-distance, helping me with family correspondence and assisting us with arrangements for our dad's memorial service at McKendree in August 2010.  We are so sad to learn of her death.  We hold Janet's family and friends in our hearts and prayers.  And will think of you as you celebrate her life.
