Howard Granvel McCrary, age 82 of Madison Tn passed away Tuesday April 23, 2013. Howard was a medic for the US Army, an avid bowler, a baseball coach, and a member of Berryville Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.
Preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Nora McCrary, daughter Judy Yoes; grandchildren Megan McCrary and Samuel Summar. Survived by brother Charles McCrary, niece Dr Evelyn Frye, nephews Jerry, Monty, and Eddie Mires; wife of over 61 years Anita F. McCrary; three daughters Vicki McCrary, Jennifer Smith, and Susan Binkley; one son James McCrary; seven grandchildren Chris McCrary, Hilary Francis, Adrian Stubblefield, Luke McCrary, Zach Summar, Callie Biggers, Caleb McCrary; ten great- grandchildren Lexi, Dylan, Tucker, Colby, Samantha, Lilli, Savannah, Levi, Ella and Kate and his beloved dog Prissy.The family has requested in lieu of flowers to make donations to the Megan McCrary Athletic Complex at Beech High School. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday April 27, 2013 from 1-3pm and a Memorial Service will be at 3:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home.
