Homer Clarence Scott age 79 of Hermitage, TN passed away August 31, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Thelma McGuire Scott; 3 brothers. Survived by loving wife of 55 years Eva Phipps Scott; children, Mark (Dede) Scott, Jana Scott and Beth (Greg) Lay grandchildren, Holly (Douglas) Cammuse, Parker and Markie Scott, Kayla Trent, Christopher Scott, Briley and Bailey Lay; sister, Elaine Sircy; Homer was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend; he will be missed by all. Homer’s laughter, love for his family and friendship will carry on in the legacy of family. Funeral Service Wednesday, September 3rd 11 am officiated by Pastor Jeff Pratt in Hermitage Funeral Chapel. Visitation Tuesday, September 2nd 4-8pm and one hr. prior to svc on Wed.
