She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Sparkman, and her oldest son, Robert M. Sparkman.
She is survived by her sons, David (Linda) Sparkman, Frank (Pat) Sparkman, and John (Patty) Sparkman; nine grandchildren; Tonya, Tara, Kimberly, Stephanie, Chris, Jerry, Renee, Nathan, and Michelle; thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hazel’s long life was filled with memories of the family that she raised and the places they lived, as she and Robert followed his work on the pipelines. When at home, she loved to work in her gardens and flower beds, study interior design, collect recipes, and cook a surplus of food when the family gathered.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Earl Sutton, Minister, officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
