Edward Lemuel Dies, age 84, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He was retired from the United States Navy and the Nashville Metro Police Department.
Mr. Dies is preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Dies. He is survived by daughter, Debbie Garrett (Wayne); son, Ronnie Dies; grandchildren, Madilyn Garrett and Brandon Adkisson (Allison); great grandchildren, Brayden Adkisson and Brynlee Adkisson. Brother Jerry Wilson Dies.
There will be a time of visitation for Mr. Dies on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. There will also be a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 PM in the Tulip Grove Room of the funeral home with Dr. Jud Hays officiating. Following the service, Mr. Dies will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories Mausoleum I at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
