Doris F. Davis, 78, of Franklin passed away November 30, 2022.
Ms. Davis worked at MDHA for many years before retiring from the department of Safety and Home Land Security as the Executive Administrator to the commissioner. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Angela Alderman and son in law Chris Alderman; grandsons Brody Alderman and Branson Alderman; brother Jim (Jane) Livesay and sister Carol Ridiner.
Ms. Davis is preceded in death by her son Bill Davis Jr.; parents Clyde and Myrtle Livesay and sisters Esther MacIntyre and Ida Jean (Richard) Wheelan.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday December 4th at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Family will announce a celebration of life service to be held at a later date.
