Donna Wells Osborne

Donna Wells Osborne of Nashville peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, February 24th at 9:45 AM, surrounded by her beloved family. Donna battled against lung cancer bravely, which will come as no surprise to those familiar with her lively spirit and unfaltering resilience. Having recently celebrated her 59th birthday, Donna departed with a legacy of unconditional love for her family, unflinching commitment to her ideals, above-and-beyond support for her friends, and a wealth of good times and fond memories.

Donna is survived by her husband of 26 years, Frank Osborne, son Joshua Spurlock, sister-in-law Rhonda (Jordan) Wells, nephews Anthony “Chip” Wells (wife Chelsey) and Connor Wells, niece Ashley (Wells) Heun (husband Art), and four great-nephews/nieces.

Donna is preceded in death by her father Hugh Don Wells, mother Jessie Jean (Smith) Wells, brother Anthony “Tony” Lee Wells, and stepson Bryant Dwayne Osborne.

A visitation and Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138) on Friday, March 22nd at 4 PM, with memorial activities at 5:30 PM, end at 7 PM. A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 1 PM at Church of the Holy Rosary (190 Graylynn Drive, Nashville TN 37214). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Donna’s nonprofits of choice - Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, and Alive Hospice.
