I worked with Don at Channel 7 in Miami. I an sadden by the passing of Don. He was a great gentleman and the best of co-workers you could ever want.
He was the best friend you could ask for and always concerned about how you were doing and always ready to help you as a friend and worker. Don will be missed by all who knew him.

Don and I go along way back, over 40 years, when we worked at WCKT/WSVN-TV. Don and I built the first news live-truck for the station.He was the most dedicated and hard working person I have had the privilege to know. I am very sad to hear of his passing. My prayers are with Julie and Michelle.

Donny, thanks for being my brother-in-law and giving my sister the best life a husband can give his wife.  I will always be grateful for the years you watched over Mom.  I will see you down the road my friend.

Don has been my next-door neighbor for the last 6 years. From the day I moved in he was always willing to lend a hand or offer advice on just about anything. He had so many interesting stories and knew something about almost anything I wanted to talk about.  Our last conversation was about his joy with the weather monitoring instrument attached to the fence between our homes. It will always bring a smile to my face.

I worked with Don for many years at WCKT/WSVN in Miami and I admired his professionalism, his humor, his dedication to his work and his loving support for his wife and family.  He was a good man and he will be missed.  Wade Hill Brenham, Texas.
