Mr. Robinson was born on August 14, 1934, in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of the late Marvin Elbert and Norma Goodwin Robinson. He was an avid sports fan of golf, nascar and football; he especially liked Vanderbilt and the Titans. He graduated from Dupont High where he received the nickname “Toe” after being the kicker on the football team. He later graduated from Belmont. He worked for and retired from Dupont in Human Resources. He married Mrs. Mildred Bryson Robinson and they were wed for 35 years. He enjoyed working the Annual Music City Classic Pro Golf Tournament every year, and Nancy Lopez claimed him as her caddy. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mildred Bryson Robinson; son, Jeffrey Robinson and his wife, Dawn; daughters, Delores Peterson and her husband, John, Linda Garon and her husband, Jesse, Katherine Love and Connie Edwards; one sister, Beverly Dyer and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Cryptside Inurnment Service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Jeff Wegner officiating.
