Dewey Hobson Bouchillon Jr.

Mr. Bouchillon was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Watts Bouchillon, and his parents, Dewey Hobson Bouchillon, Sr. and Lois Arnold Bouchillon.

Dewey is survived by wife, Irma McVey of Poplar Bluff, MO; two daughters, Sharon Bowman of Nashville, TN and DeDe (Steve) Williams of Franklin, TN. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Morgan Williams of Murfreesboro, TN; Travis Williams of Franklin, TN; Carrie Bowman of Knoxville, TN; and Mitchell (Lauren) Bowman of San Antonio, TX; and one great grandchild, Adalind Bowman. Mr. Bouchillon leaves behind one sister, Mary Louise (Al) Taylor of Greenville, SC, and four nieces.

Dewey graduated from Clemson University in 1953 with a degree in chemical engineering. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and was employed by DuPont for 35 years until retirement in 1985. He enjoyed golfing and extensive traveling throughout Europe and Asia.

A service will be held at the Hermitage Funeral Home on Friday, November 16, at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning 30 minutes prior. Entombment to follow in the mausoleum - 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN.
