Charles Gibbs

Charles Gibbs, age 80, of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. Charles was born February 19, 1940 in Sykes, Tennessee son of Herbert and Mary Lena (Wills) Gibbs.

Funeral services in his honor will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 am at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, Tennessee 37138, with Pastor Mike Bertsch officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Charles was a faithful member of Donelson Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Cora M. "Corky" Gibbs, two sons; Scott (Valerie) Gibbs, and Jason (Kristi) Gibbs; Granddaughters; Ashley, Bailey, Reagan and Presley Gibbs; Brother, Eugene Gibbs; sister Martha Jordan.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 am Monday with Pastor Mike Bertsch officiating at Hermitage Funeral Home. Visitation on Sunday from 4 pm to 7 pm and Monday from 10 am till service at Hermitage Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
