Brenda Kay (Robertson) Shelton, 70, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Brenda was born on February 3, 1952 in Portsmouth, Ohio to father, Everett Robertson, and mother, Minnie (Worthington) Robertson.
Brenda had a tender heart for others. She loved cooking and preparing a big meal and inviting anyone over to eat. One of her biggest pleasures was being surrounded by friends and family. She was an unreserved lady and could make a new acquaintance feel as if they knew her entire life’s story upon meeting. She had a passion for travel; but, above her sense of adventure was the fierce love she had for her grandchildren. She loved God and served Him for most of her life. She will be greatly missed.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Shelton; son Ryan (Marlena) Shelton; daughter Leslie Powers; grandchildren Makenzie Powers, Brayden Shelton, Declan Shelton, and Kennedy Powers.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Thursday, November 3, in the Andrew Room at the Hermitage Funeral Home from 4pm until 8pm and on Friday, November 4, from 12pm until 2pm.
