Bobby spent many years as an avid golfer playing college golf at Tennessee Tech University and tournament golf for several years after that. He also served as executive operations chairman for the Sara Lee Classic Golf Tournament.
Bobby spent 45+ years selling brick for the same company and was very involved in the industry and made numerous friends over the years. He also served as President of the Associates Council of the Middle Tennessee Homebuilders Association.
More than anything, he loved and adored his family. If you were looking for Bobby, chances were you could find him on the sidelines somewhere in Middle Tennessee, cheering on his grandchildren in their sporting events. For Bobby, loving his family was an unquestionable top priority and he showed that in his time spent with them either at home, the beach, on the boat or sitting poolside. Pop, we already miss you.
Bobby is survived by loving wife of forty six years Diane Barbee. Daughters and sons in law Adrienne (Bryon) Russell, and Dana (Ryan) Hannah. Grandchildren Emerson and Bennett Hannah, Hayden Claire, Cecilia, Madelyn and Finley Russell. Sisters Mary Woodlief, Ann Winters and Anita Ryion. Mother in law Beatrice Hill.
