Billy Ray Fitzgerald Sr.

Billy was survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan L Fitzgerald, son Billy Ray (Allison) Fitzgerald, Jr., daughter Tina (George) Durgin special niece and nephew, Nicole Humphrey and Keith Spann, Grandchildren, Catherine (Derrick) Baker and Annie Fitzgerald, great grandchildren, Durgin Baker, Bronwen Baker and Gilliam Baker, along with numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Billy retired from United Insurance where he was their sales manager. In his leisure time, he enjoyed model trains, watching the Tennessee Titans, Bowling and great food. Together with Susan, they traveled the world. Their favorite trips were to Germany and Prague. Billy was also an active member of the Shriners and the Masonic Lodge where he was a Master Mason.

A visitation will be held at the Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN from 4:00PM – 8:00Pm on Thursday November 21, 2024 and again Friday November 23, 2024 from 11:00-1:00PM. The celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00PM Friday in the Tulip Grove Chapel at the funeral home, with Dr. John Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories, Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be James Spann, Kenneth Spann, Keith Spann, Jeremy Gooch, Mark Helser and Jason Maitland.
