Phyllis and I are so very saddened to learn of the passing of Darlene.  Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you Gene.  Darlene was such a delight to know and be around.  We have lost a wonderful person who was so talented and a joy to know.  We have in our home beautiful reminders that will continue to remind us of her great talent. Gene may God bless and comfort you.

Gene, I know this is a tough time for you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers & that Darlene will always live on in our hearts!  We've treasured having both of you for friends & neighbors.   When we first moved to Brandywine farms & didn't know many people in the neighborhood, we crossed paths with you guys & have been in "cahoots" ever since.   Darlene was a source of Joy & inspiration for me both personally & professionally. I always appreciated all that she & you have done for the neighborhood, and for your awesome sence of humor.  Life is short, & the journey is a lot more fun with people like both of you. You have so many friends.  You are a fortunate man to have loved such a great Lady.

Its been a wonderful joy to know Darlene, and she always put a smile on my face no matter what kind of day I was having. Thank you for letting me, my brothers, and co-workers become part of both of your lives. It was always a treat to receive her "goodie" packs she would send, and will cherish the memories of the time spent in your home with you both. I always felt you both were more then customers right from the start, and considered you my extended family!

Gene, We are so sad to hear about the passing of Darlene. She was a wonderful lady and we love her so much. She was a lot of fun and would help anyone. I found a kindred spirit when I met Darlene. She was never at a loss for words and I was never at a loss for laughter. Life on earth will never be the same... but then again, neither will life in heaven! Darlene, oh how you will be missed. Rest in peace...

Hans and I are both so saddened by the passing of Darlene.  I bet she has some words for St. Peter if he asks her any questions at the pearly gates...laughter always surrounded Darlene and she was one feisty woman!  God gave us all a lesson in resilience with her in our lives. Hans and I met because of Darlene.  I am forever changed and blessed. May you feel the love of others surround you as you grieve. We will so miss the stop by visits, the laughter, and the pause waiting briefly on Darlene's input on a given subject.  Our prayers and love are extended to Gene during this time and prayers for the days ahead.

Darlene was the most honest and truthful friend an individual could have known.  Many good memories will never be forgotten.  I will truly miss her.
