I had the pleasure of knowing Ben as I worked for the Airport Police as Chief.  I first met him several years ago during a case we were working.  He was extremely professional and kind every time I spoke with him.  He always greeted me with a smile and we would speak when I was in the terminal.   He was a good man and I will always remember his kindness towards me.

To the Becker family, Your husband, father, son, brother was a rare man. When my son, an obvious serviceman, was waiting at the airport to be picked up by me, Ben struck up a conversation with him that has continued to influence him these seven years hence. We are both greatly pained by your loss and hope your grief will be eased over time knowing how many he has touched in his life. Peace be with you all.

Haley, I was sad to hear of Ben's passing.  He spent many hours visiting my daughter, Jenny, and mutual friends in our family home during his teen year.  He has a beautiful family!  Praying for you and Ben.

My heart was so broken when I found out about Ben...there really are no words that I can offer ...I do know that when it's hard to look forward and it's painful to look back....I focus on whatever I can do to stay in the now.... Don't look back, and don't focus too far into the future.
