WRIGHT, Barbara Evelyn, age 77 of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Wright and parents, Carlous and Carrine Swaffer. Survived by her sons, Byron (Susan) Wright and Aaron Wright; grandchildren, Macy, Mackenzie, Sara and Jackson; sister, Elynor (Jerry) Smith; brother, Roy (Elaine) Swaffer. Mrs. Wright was a member of Gateway Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from the Wilson County Board of Education with over 20 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Del Compton officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Gateway Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation with the family 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Noon – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203.
