NELSON, Audie Kirklin, age 102 of Old Hickory, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, J. Chalmer Nelson; sons, Morris and Paul Nelson; brothers, Denton, G. Wilson and James Kirklin; sisters, Ola Brown Carroll and Oneda Deal. Survived by her daughter, Reba Salimbene; grandchildren, Jane Nelson Bradley, Dana Mullins, Robert Salimbene and Karen Salimbene Brummett; sisters, Anna Carawin and Sara L. Shanks; 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren; devoted caregiver, Brenda Jones. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday, March 29, 2013 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Brummett officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with great grandchildren, Josh Bradley, Tommy Bradley, Michael Salimbene, Alex Mullins, Danny Mullins, Katy Jones, Christian Brummett and David Birchett serving as pallbearers.
