Joan J. Pastor Mulholland

Joan J. (Pastor) Mulholland, 75, of Freehold died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Born and raised in Bayonne, she married and raised her family in Jersey City then lived in Old Bridge before moving to Freehold 2 years ago.

Joan was a homemaker; she loved being with family above all, enjoying family cruises and visits to Ocean Grove, craft fairs and reading. Joan’s children adored her, “she was the sweetest person in the world”.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years Lieutenant Robert Mulholland (2009) of the Jersey City Police Department. She is survived by her loving children Robert and Lori and is also survived by the Ludwig, Snyder and Mulholland families. Joan leaves behind her cherished grand-dog Penelope.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, October 17, 2014 from 2-9 pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday, October 18, 2014 at St. Gabriel's RC Historic Church 549 County Road 520 Marlboro, NJ 07746. Entombment to follow, St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum.
