William (Bill) Everett Dyche, 74, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he met.
Bill was born on July 27, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles Everett and Virginia Louise (Williams) Dyche. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He owned his own company, X-Ray Archives Inc. and was considered an avid chess player.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Dyche, daughter, Tricia Frazier, son, William Everett Dyche Jr., and his brother, Forrest Rhea. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Susan L. (Abbott) Dyche, two daughters, Jackie C. Ponthier, Dawn S. Classen, three sons, Michael Selby, Mark Selby and Bruce Dyche along with their spouses and families. Bill is also survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth Cooper and Sharon Adkins. He will be sadly missed.
A private family interment with Military Honors is scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2017 in Leavenworth National Cemetery 150 Muncie Road Leavenworth, Kansas. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East. Loula Street Olathe, Kansas.
