He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue Kapitan; his son, Allen Kapitan of Olathe; and his brother, David Kapitan of Wisconsin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Lucille (Cris) Kapitan, and his brother, Steven A. Kapitan.
Bob was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bob was a fascinating man who lived an incredible life.
