Bob was a good friend + all around good guy + is missed by many🙏

We were out of town and learned of Bob's death when we returned.  Susan, Mary and Barbara, I can remember babysitting with you and your brother. You were four sweet ones! It sounds like Bob had a good life and left many that loved him.

Our prayers to all the family.  Bob's mother, "Gussie," as she was known to my family, was Godmother at my infant baptism.  May God give you all the strength and comfort you need in this difficult time.

I would like to say how sorry I am to hear about Bob's passing.  My deepest sympathy to all of Bob's family members.

I had the opportunity to work with Bob at UPS.  One of the first things I would see after arriving at work was Bob's smiling face.  No tast was too little or too large for Bob to take on.  His knowledge of the automotive industry was to the extreme.  

I enjoyed working with Bob and I can truly say that he will be missed by all of his fellow employees.

Bob is one of those people I can not remember meeting; he was just always there at the John Deere Dealership. Later, I worked with him from 1974 to 1978. I have seen Bob at his best with a very quick wit and high pitched laugh; I have also seen the frustrations of a perfectionist displayed in some very colorful ways. How's that for tactful? Bob was my friend and that showed by the very large smiles we both wore when we would run into each other somewhere. I admired Bob for the interesting and lasting friendships he surrounded himself with, for having the courage to speak his mind, for the passion he brought to his life and for the ornery streak. I particularly enjoyed the ornery streak, here's one reason why. One day the power company showed up and drilled a hole to set a new high line pole in. Time ran out so the power company workers covered the hole with some signs and set up the safety precautions for the night. Two parts men (Bob and Tom) watched the drilling operation with interest and somehow one of those "what if" ideas was hatched. The next morning the power company workers returned to set the pole and as those workers uncovered the hole, they were amazed and astonished to find the hole completely filled in. I can just imagine those poor guy's trying to explain what had happened to a superior. I wasn't one of those parts men yet, but; I love the story. Yes, like Bob, I particularly enjoy the ornery streak in some of "those" people.  It's a Yogie-isum that "if this were a perfect world, it wouldn't be" and so we are left with our great moments and our great memories. These are the reasons for living and appreciating the gifts our Lord has given.  I share a deep sense of loss and sadness with Bob's loved ones. You will be in my prayers.

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a very good neighbor to my mother. I will have fond memories of his laugh and smile when I was at her home. Prayers are with the family.

We are so grateful for the opportunity we had to meet and spend time with this dear and special man.  He will always be in our memories and missed. Please know that we are here for you.
