Rhonda Kay Giesler, 63, of Olathe, KS., passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015. Rhonda was born on May 30, 1951 in Nevada, Missouri to Leslie and Evelyn (Jones) Flewelling. She attended and graduated from Raytown High School.
She married her husband Thomas E Giesler October 17th 1977. She worked full time at B/E Aerospace for over 30 years and also worked part time at JCCC for many years. While she was working two jobs she took care of all her fathers medical needs including driving to Eldorado Springs, MO to pick him up and drive him back to Kansas City for his doctors appointments. She took care of him until his death on 1997. Her greatest joy was raising her children. She loved spending time with her family and her friends. She took care of her mom and her little sister, Mary. She enjoyed shopping, camping at the lake, and the float trips she had with her girlfriends. She also enjoyed trips with her husband which included going to Colorado multiple times, a Caribbean cruise, South Padre Island, TX, Mexico and many more. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving as she prepared the feast for her family. Rhonda was a very caring person with a very big heart. She always put others first before herself. When someone needed something she was always there to give it to them whether it be a hug, a smile, someone to just listen to or clothes because someone couldn’t afford them.
