Patty Sue Heath

Patty was born in Columbus, Kansas on April 7, 1946 to Thomas Earl and Alfreda (Sandwith) Smith. Her family moved to Olathe where she attended school. Patty married Dean Rogers in 1963 and later Billy Ross Heath in 1975. Patty and Billy lived in Olathe, Kansas; Flagstaff, Arizona; Aurora, Colorado; and Alvarado, Texas. They loved traveling together and Patty loved singing, gardening, coloring, crossword puzzles, her two cats and visiting with family and friends.

Patty was preceded in death her parents; her brothers Thomas Harry Smith and Ronald Joe Smith; her husband Billy Ross Heath and step grandson Cooper Ventress.

Patty's partner of eight years, Jerry Godwin, passed away on the same day as Patty.

She is survived by her daughter Jeanetta Rogers (Clint) and son Curtis Rogers (Ann) and step children Sharion Cox (Robert), Bill Heath (Terry), Brenda Donham (Dan), Jim Heath (Laura) and Michelle Ventress (Jack) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home at 105 E. Loula Street, Olathe, KS 66061. Graveside service will follow at Olathe Cemetery at 730 N. Chestnut Street, Olathe, KS 66061.
