Morgan M. Green, 24 years old, of Olathe, Kansas went home on Angels Wings to meet his Savior on Saturday, April 13, 2019 surrounded by his close family members. He was one of the best people that ever lived. His life was not defined by his disease and disability but by the people that touched his life each day all over the world. He lived a life of joy, love and kindness which came across in his infectious smile and laugh.
Many people helped Morgan in his short life, and many more he helped to find purpose in their life. He truly was a gift to anyone who met him and in return he wanted to love others as he was loved. He enjoyed eating out, shopping, bowling, making Build a Bears, and most any other activity that involved his friends or family members where he could laugh and enjoy each moment.
He spent many of his years in and out of hospitals and clinics. He met all types of healthcare providers but did not worry about the prognosis. His thoughts were only about what bear or baby gift awaited him after it was all done.
Morgan was born in Salina, Kansas on July 12, 1994 and grew up in a small town in central Kansas with a single mother. At age five they moved to Olathe, Kansas where he thrived in a community who embraced him at each stage of his life. Morgan attended and graduated from Olathe East High School in 2013 where he received a standing ovation from the over crowded auditorium. He had three best friends at Olathe East and they have remained his best buds to this day. They are Jacob W. and Jake and Michael Wilkerson who have forever bonded with Morgan during his last few years of life.
Morgan is survived by his mother, Stephanie Green Findley and his brother Sheridan J. Findley both of Olathe, Kansas, his grandparents, Tom and Sherri Green of Wichita, Kansas, aunt Meagan Green of Wichita, Kansas, uncle Christopher Green of Ellsworth, cousin Andrew Green of Washington and great grandmother Vera Kizzar-Green of Texas. Morgan had many great aunts, uncles and cousins that he is survived by also.
Morgan Green will have a special “Celebration of Life” that will be scheduled at a later date. The family would appreciate if you want to assist in the celebration memorial.
