He is survived by his wife Sharon of the home, daughters Jessica Larkin and Megan Riley, son Sean Riley and granddaughter Josilyn Farro, Mother Ann Covington, brother Anthony Riley, sisters Christine (Jonathan) Harrington, Laure (Doug) Penny, and Elise Riley as well as many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Billie Riley, his step-father Jimmie Covington and his brothers Gary Riley and Gregory Covington.
Mike, Sharon and their two children moved to Olathe, KS in 1993 where Mike was able to fulfill his life long dream of owning his own business. He started Master Chimney in 1994 and operated it with Sharon and (the last 3 years) his son Sean. He loved his family, especially his 4 year old granddaughter Josilyn, and his many friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
