Marjorie Jean Moll, 83, of Olathe, KS passed away March 23, 2013. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home with rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., at Divine Mercy Catholic Church 555 W. Main St, Gardner, KS with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
Marjorie was born July 2, 1929 to Medart & Mary Newhouse in Kansas City, MO. She later moved to Olathe and grew up on a farm east of town. She is a graduate of Stanley High School and worked at the Johnson County Tax Office in Olathe. On June 6, 1953 she married her life-long husband, Joe H. Moll, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Olathe. They spent the remainder of their years on the Moll family farm west of Olathe, which is currently being farmed by her sons, Joe and Daniel. Marge devoted her life to her husband and sons. She was the ultimate provider for her family, canning, cooking and baking her special delights. Her loves in life were her faith, family and gardening. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her son, Edward, brothers, Paul & Clarence Newhouse, sister, Joan Kramer and grandson, Timothy Moll.
She is survived by her 3 loving sons, Joe and wife Sherry of Gardner, KS, John and wife Mary of Rowlett, TX, and Daniel of Olathe, KS; 7 adoring grandchildren, Amy, Emily, Aaron, Laura, Andrew, Tiffany and Tara; great granddaughter, Lydia; brother, John Newhouse. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Divine Mercy Building Fund or Crossroads Hospice.
