Linda (Merriman) Owsley

Linda was born on October 17, 1960 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri to Jack K. and Sally J. Merriman. She attended and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1979. She married and survived her husband Michael W. Oxley, who died on March 27, 1994. She is survived by brothers Michael W., Kevin L., and Patrick J. Merriman; and husband Frank Owsley. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed quilting, growing tomatoes and flowers, playing bingo, fishing and spending time with her cat, Samson. She brought joy to the community through her rock garden. She would paint a bug or a face on a rock and display it in her front yard. It soon became a curiosity and walkers would visit, just to see the latest addition. Linda will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe, Kansas at 11:00am on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
