Linda Kay Hipsher, 67, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend to everyone she met.
Linda was born on May 18th, 1950 in Portland Oregon to George Frederick and Olive Agnes (Logerwell) Alley. She attended and graduated from Weaubleau High School. She worked as a secretary / treasurer at the family business Olathe Transmission. She enjoyed going to the Casino, traveling to Aruba, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Linda is preceded in death by: her parents, brothers Gary Alley, Ray Alley, and George F Alley Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Paul A. Hipsher of the home, daughter, Heather D. Hipsher and son, Brent T. Hipsher and his wife Toni all of Olathe, Kansas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are herthree grandchildren, Lanycia Hipsher, Brennon Hipsher and Braxton Hipsher alongwith her two brothers Don Alley, Bob Alley and his wife Dar and one sister, Beverly “Bev” Thompson and her husband William of Oregon.
Linda will be cremated according to her wishes. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday afternoon, October 22nd from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas 66061.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice.
