Laura Lynn (Waring) Siddall, 54, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2022. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, cousin and friend to everyone she knew.
Laura was born on June 6, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri to Kenneth Clark and Eldora (El) Ruth (Spurgeon) Waring. She attended and graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School, and continued her education at the University of Missouri and Emporia State College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Science. She met the love of her life during that time and they were married on November 22, 2004. Together they raised their son Zack.
Laura enjoyed attending her son’s sporting events, gardening and just socializing with her friends. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. Laura especially enjoyed relaxing by reading her books alongside with, her bottle of Bud Light. She will be sadly missed.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of eighteen years, Bryan Siddall of the home, son, Zack Siddall and his fiancé Olivia Huels of Overland Park, Kansas. Left behind to cherish her memory is her cousin Nancy Avioli and her husband Michael of St. Louis, Missouri. She also leaves behind a large extended family.
Laura will be cremated according to her wishes. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 East Loula Street, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon prior to the service. A gathering will be held immediately following the service in the McGilley Event Room. A private family inurnment will take place in her family plot in Bowles Chapel in Maries County, Missouri.
