Jordan Matthew Miller, 25, died on Thursday March 20th. Jordan was born to Darrell and Lynda Miller, on May 24th 1988 in Merriam, Kansas. Jordan graduated from Olathe South High School in 2007. Jordan attended Johnson County Community College from 2007 – 2009, attended K-State in 2010. Later, he graduated from Centriq in 2013 and was employed as an IT Administrator. Jordan was passionate regarding internet security, music, and his hobby was reading research studies on nutrition. He shared his knowledge of nutrition on multiple blogs. He volunteered at “OWL”, a facility for injured wildlife. His heart was full of compassion for injured, abused animals. He helped with rescuing abandoned animals, and adopted his beloved corgi “Bianca”.
Jordan is survived by his parents and his loving brother Jared Miller of Kansas City, MO. His paternal grandparents Paul and Ilene Miller of Zionsville, IN, Debbie Bojrab of Carmel, IN, and cousin Brandon Bojrab of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by Gerard and Rhoda Nissley of Elverson, PA, Robert and Janelle Nissley of Hungry Horse, MT, Dr. John and Lois Nissley of Findlay, OH, Rev. Art and Louise Good of Kouts, IN. Jordan has 9 Nissley cousins that were a joy to him. He is preceded by his maternal grandparents Ira and Ruth Nissley and his uncle Dr. Steve Bojab of Carmel, IN.
His heart ached for abused and neglected children. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Johnson County Mental Health Center.
Our beloved son Jordan’s viewing will be held at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 East Loula St., Olathe Ks 66061 on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Indian Creek Community Church, 12480 S Blackbob Rd, Olathe, Ks 66062 at 10:00 a.m., Thursday March 27, 2014.
