John Dustan Brieske

Dustan was born on December 29, 1962 in LaGrange, Illinois to Frederick and Joanne (LaFlaur) Brieske. He attended and graduated “Class of 1981” from Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois. He continued his education by attending at the University of Northern Illinois in Dekalb, Illinois where he received his Bachelors of Art Degree. He worked as an IT Specialist for Nazdar Printing Company where he was very meticulous and tech savvy.

Dustan enjoyed quality time and long conversations with his daughter Briana. He enjoyed playing volleyball and going on hikes with his brothers. He also enjoyed the outdoors and nature walks with his dogs “Ginger” and “Mayhem”. In his younger years he was an artist, and he loved listening to music.

Dustan is preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Joanne Brieske. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving daughter Briana Brieske of Olathe, Kansas, mother of his daughter Debbie Gomez-Reed of Lenexa, Kansas, four brothers James Brieske, Brian Brieske and his wife Robin of Denver, Colorado, David Brieske and his wife Marissa, Steve Brieske, his sister Janice Brieske & two aunts Sister Rosemary LaFlaur of LaGrange, Illinois & Donna Mulvenna of LaGrange, Illinois. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephew Lydia, Trevin, Taylor, Alexandria and Victoria. He also left behind many first cousins in LaGrange, Illinois.

Dustan will be cremated according to his wishes. A “Celebration of Life” honoring the life of Dustan John Brieske will take place at a later date.
