Jaqueline Louise Totten

Jaqueline "Jackie" Louise Totten, Age 71, of Olathe, Kansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2013. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met . Jackie was born on November 15, 1941 in Iowa City, Iowa to Charles and Elsie Jackson.

Jackie was a very loving and gererous woman. She would give someone in need her last bit of food if she thought they needed it more than she did. She had a connection with her grandchildren and great grandchildren that was very strong and she loved seeing them happy and growing. She enjoyed making children laugh, that she was a professional party clown at one time in her life, and she loved it so much. There just wasn't anything she couldn't do if she really put her mind to it. She raised her daughters with a spirit of determination which was then passed on to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Elsie Jackson.

She is survived by: her daughters: Kelly Madden and Teri Turnbull and her son in law Tony Turnbull, her grandchildren Erica and Johnny Franco, Heather and Mike Reed, and Nicole Marchant, and 10 great grandchildren; Lance Hixon Jr, Bree-Anna Hixson, Alyssa Marchant, Chyna Acree, Hailey Smith, Katelyn Smith, Mya Franco, Janalynn Reed, Johnny Franco III, and Desiray Wolfe. Jackie is also survived by her brother Bill Jackson and his family.

Jackie had a large family that she loved very much that will dearly miss her. We are incredibly sad to lose her but we take comfort in the fact that we now have a beautiful guardian angel looking out for us.

Isaiah 41:10 Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Jaqueline was cremated according to her wishes.
