James L. Cummins, 79, of Olathe, KS, passed away July 16, 2015 surrounded by family. Visitation will be at 9:30am with funeral services following at 10am, Tuesday, July 21st at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St, Olathe, KS. Graveside services will be 2:30pm, Tuesday, at Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs, KS.
Jim was born on June 25, 1936 in Webb City, MO to James Raymond and Iva (Ragsdale) Cummins. He married the love of his life, Nancy Thomas, on October 4, 1968. Also surviving are his three children, David (Valerie Duff, DO) Cummins of Lenexa, KS, Alison (James) Mairet of Lenexa, KS and Chris (Genevieve) Cummins of Kansas City, MO and one sister Rayma Johnson of Jefferson City, MO. Also left to cherish his memory are his five grandchildren, Taylor, Hayden, Charlotte, Amelia and Grady.
