Grace Elaine Hamilton Evans

Grace Elaine Evans, 92, of Lenexa, Kansas formerly of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. Grace was born on February 2, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to Everett and Evelyn (Fitzpatric) Hamilton. She was a dedicated employee who worked for 30 years at H.O.Peet/Kidder Peabody.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Wayne Evans, and four siblings; Evelyn M. Welch, Dorothy Bernice Provost, Richard Everett Hamilton, and James Edward Hamilton. She is survived by her daughter Sandra L. Rose of Kansas City, Missouri. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral services 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 2nd at the McGilley-Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula St. Olathe, Kansas. Interment in East Slopes Cemetery 5011 N.W. Gateway Ave. Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening September 1st at the funeral home.
