Dorothy Jean Fritz

She was born Feb. 15, 1931, to Alvah and Ida Boyce of Cassville, MO, both of whom preceded her in death. Dorothy graduated from Pierce City H.S. in 1949. Dorothy retired from the KS State School for the Blind in 1998. She loved reading, writing poetry, playing the clarinet, and Ballroom Dancing.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Alvah Boyce, Jr.

Surviving are her sisters, Marilyn Shepherd of Monett, MO, and Leta Gonzales, of Brownsville, TX; daughters: Judy Shott, Patricia Fritz Magenheimer, and Carol Baker; 21 Grandchildren, 41 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Memorial Service and Family visitation will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 1:30-3:30 p.m., at Living Stone Family Worship Center, 2411 Steele Road, KCK 66106.
