It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Richard Burke at the age of 84 on May 17, 2023. Donald was born on April 8, 1939, in Iola, KS. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a dedicated member of Teamsters Local #41 for 31 years, where he transported automobiles. Additionally, Donald was an active member of the American Legion for 48 years, as well as the Tin Can Sailors, National Association of Destroyer Veterans. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Deborah Anne Burke, for 48 years.
Donald is survived by his wife, six children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In memory of Donald, a gathering with family and friends will be held at a future date, and details will be announced once the arrangements are finalized.
