David’s journey began as the son of Charlie and Dorothy Johnson (nee Creed), and he outlived his parents and siblings, Darleen, MaryAnn and Billy.
The proud patriarch of a lively crew, David’s legacy includes his beloved wife, Judy Ann Johnson, his children: Bobby (Belinda) Farmer, Kimberly Farmer, and David (Kathy) Farmer, Chris and Joleta. He was loved by and leaves many cherished memories with his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
David was a soldier in the United States Army and after the military, he was a firefighter for the Olathe Fire Department for over 20 years. An avid outdoorsman, David’s interests included fishing, boating, and enjoying the waters of Hillsdale Lake.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate David’s life on Friday, February 9, 2024, with a visitation from 5PM-7PM at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St., Olathe, KS 66061.
