Daniel J. Casey

Daniel James "Dan" Casey, 48, of Overland Park, Kan. passed away August 24, 2011. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday August 28, 2011 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home -Olathe. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Private Family Burial.

Daniel was born September 19, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. He was married for 12 years. Dan was an avid jet skier and an accomplished artist. He worked in the flooring business for more than 25 years. He was a proud parent and grandparent. Dan was raised in Olathe, Kansas.

Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Wintz Casey. He is survived by his wife, Gabrielle Casey; daughter, Danielle Jeffries, and son-in-law, Ryan, of Spring Hill, KS; grandchildren: Tucker, Gage, and Brooklyn; sisters: Kris Livingston and Mary Deeter, of Spring Hill, KS; Kim Radda, of Wellsville, KS, Tracie Hughes, of Vassar, KS, and Theresa Spires, of Longmont, CO; six nephews, four nieces, and one great niece; father, Jim Casey, and step-mother, Evie, of Paola, KS; grandmother, Margaret Crofford, of Falls City, NE.
