William Lee Jackson, 17, of Oklahoma City, OK was unexpectedly taken from his family on June 8, 2024. William's services have been entrusted to the care of Memorial Park Funeral Home and a private family service will be held in the near future.
William Lee Jackson was born in Oklahoma City, on May 27, 2007 to Robyn Denise Jackson and William Lee Barze. He was raised in OKC, attending Douglas High School. During his younger years, William loved to play football for his little league team, the Knights. William loved to start his morning with his mom talking about his future and writing out his goals for the day. William also enjoyed spending time with his father and his family in Louisiana. He enjoyed fishing and working with his dad, having crab boils with his Auntie Lisa, and playing basketball with his closest cousin Kaemond Badon. He also loved eating seafood and nachos.
As he got older, William discovered females. He became quite the ladies' man, winning the girls over with his handsome looks, his wit, and charm. Music was a big part of his life and if William was not hanging out with his to best friends Lucas and Londyn Epps, he was most likely in his room by himself, listening to music, playing Playstation 4, eating a full bag of Doritos. Being the good brother he was, he would always return the empty bag of chips to the kitchen for his sister Diamond to find and throw away for him.
William had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and hang out with his friends. He was so easy going, had a calming presence and lightened any room he walked into with the most caring heart. While he was not big on smiling himself, William always brought a smile to others. Like most young men, William Jackson was planning for his future. He dreamed of getting his CDL license and becoming a truck driver so he could do his part to provide for the family he loved so much. William was a good kid with a sweet soul. He was deeply sentimental and would do or give anything he had to help a friend or family member in need.
William Lee Jackson was a loving son, a protective brother, a caring grandson, and a loyal friend. He left an unmistakable mark on the lives of so many people.
He is preceded in death by his brother Otto Daniel Reed Jr., Grandma Bernice Ransom and Aunt Areth Barze.
Left behind to carry on his legacy are his Parents: William Lee Barze and Robyn Denise Jackson. Siblings: Diamond Jones, Jasmine Jackson, Carlos Jackson, Quinette Brown, Tanisha Carter, Samuel Brown, and Jordy Wilson. Grandparents Gloria Jackson, Willie Barze, Janice Jackson, and Robert Johnson. Aunts/Uncles: Lisa Barze, Rene Powell, David Barze, Tiffany Jackson, Ebony Johnson, Robert Jackson, and Michael Jackson. He is also survived by special niece and nephew Kamaiyah Stevenson and Kaiden Jackson, as well as many other beloved other family members and friends.
