He was born the son of Ray and Reba (Curl) Hodges on Saturday, May 21st, 1938, in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
William was known as a hard-working man. Before he retired in 2000, he worked self employed for Bill’s RLC Pump and Supply for 35 years as water pump man. He was an Army veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He lived most of his life in Oklahoma but traveled all 48 states and all the provinces in Canada with his family. He loved camping.
Survivors include his wife Louise Hodges, daughter Catrina Raye Taylor and husband Jimmy, daughter Latonja Gaye Grant and husband Kenny, sister Jeanetta, sister Juanita, sister Margaret, brother Ed Hodges, sister Betty, and sister Slyvia, grandson AB, granddaughter Ashleigh Hodges , grandson Zac, granddaughter ArynRaye, granddaughter Semaj, great-grandson Isaiah, great-granddaughter Gracie, great-grandson Tayden.
He is preceded in death by his mother Reba, his father Ray, daughter Redonna Kay Hodges, and his sister Clara Lou Stimson.
A memorial service for William will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Crossroads Connection Church, 1628 S. Harrah Road, Harrah, OK 73045.
